Oh Baby...

One of my friends is having a little baby girl in December, so I jumped at the chance to have a shower for her!
Tissue Paper Pom Poms were super simple to make, but they made my living room scream baby!

I made all of the shower decorations on a super budget. The table runners, flower arrangements, table cloths, invitations and envelopes complete with a custom lining (I wish I had a picture of those) were all made for under $40.
The arrangements sat on a variety of mom and baby books... my friend is a teacher, and we had a book themed shower where guests brought books instead of cards.
And  the Piece de Resistance: The Diaper Cake.  I formed the cake from nearly 100 diapers, yards of satin and sparkling ribbon and brown paper confetti.  The cutest little pair of shoes sat on the top, but mommy to be had already swooped them up!  The word on the cake is BABY... the BY was cut off...Sorry!    I made these using cardboard letters and decoupaging and glittering them.  Babies girls must have ribbon and glitter.

Postcard Guest Book

Receive postcards from your guests for months to come!

A unique way for the guests to display the finished postcards would be a painted shutter, an old mailbox or even photo holders.
